Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil comes from a native tree in Australia called the Melaleuca alternifolia. Aborigines have used tea tree oil for centuries for it's medicinal properties. Tea Tree oil contains compounds such as terpinen-4-ol which is a natural antiseptic and has been shown to kill certain bacteria, viruses and fungi. Tea tree oil also have immune boosting properties which increase the activity of your white blood cells, helping to fight germs and other foreign invaders.
Tea tree oil is used for making a whole host of products such as hand sanitizers, insect repellent, natural deodorant, antiseptic for minor cuts, fight acne, fight nail fungus, chemical-free mouthwash, soothing skin inflammation, all purpose cleaner, to control dandruff, treat athletes foot, and relieve psoriasis.
